Lower Sitting Room

This part of the house was once a  tobacco-drying tower and is now a double height sitting room with a gallery. This high room is cool in the peak of summer and cosy in midwinter with its large wood burning stove. Kids of all ages and  film  lovers will appreciate the Playstation 2 and TV in this room, along with a selection of games and DVDs (including many Disney favourites).

The gallery, a light, airy space leads to the lower roof terrace and the main staircase.

Upper Sitting Room

Traditionally, this would have been the main room of the house, a combination of kitchen and living room. Now a large stone fireplace provides a wonderful focus for the comfortable sitting room. There is a CD player and a selection of CDs.

In the winter there is a good supply of firewood for the wood-burning stove. You will also find a selection of books and games in the bookshelves.

French doors lead onto the upper roof terrace.
